there were a lot of crimes committed on january 6th. we have police officers who died. over 140 who were brutally beaten. our nation s capitol, the pantheon of our democracy was sacked and assaulted that day. so a lot of criminal activity certainly and a lot of it was coordinated. this was not an accident. a lot of coordination in advance of that day. so there needs to be truth and accountability and importantly in the united states, justice is blind. we have lady justice that holds the scales and she is wearing a blindfold. it doesn t matter who you are. doesn t matter your title. doesn t matter your position in life. everybody is accountable to the law in the united states of america and it s not just that you re still accountable the higher you go. the higher up you go it s more important that you be held accountable. doesn t matter whether you are the former president, a member of congress or anybody else, if you committed a crime you have to be held accountable for it. no one is
