External Affairs Minister Jaishankar to address UNSC on combating terrorism
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will be participating in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) open debate on International Cooperation in combating terrorism 20 years after the adoption of 1373 on Tuesday.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will be participating in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) open debate on International Cooperation in combating terrorism 20 years after the adoption of 1373 on Tuesday.
This will be the first time that EAM shall be making an intervention in the UNSC after India has assumed membership on January 1, 2021.
Addressing the United Nations Security Council for the first time since India assumed temporary membership of the UNSC, EAM S Jaishankar proposed an eight-point Action Plan and urged member states to commit to 'ero tolerance' for terrorism.
