[applause] and a truly remarkable and very special woman who was a use it at ucla with bob alterman in the postworld war ii years, she took a train to washington dc after graduating. In july of 1951, rosemary woods hired her to join the staff of the newly elected california senator, Richard Nixon. Since then, shes been a mainstay of every next in office and campaign, friend of the next family. Net and family, and for many years the assistant secretarytreasurer of our foundation board.
