The Cape girls’ basketball train continues to roll with a 68-25 blowout of St. Georges March 3 in the second round of the DIAA state tournament.
It was the M&M show, as Mehkia Applewhite and Morgan Mahoney lit up the scoreboard with 20 and 18 points, respectively. Applewhite hit four threes, while Mahoney dropped two. They also combined for nine rebounds, six blocks, six steals and five assists.

DOVER, Del- In a repeat of the past two girls Henlopen championship games, the Cape Henlopen Vikings avenged last seasons loss to Woodbridge with the 37-36 victory. On the boys side, the Smyrna Eagles got their second Henlopen title since 2018 with the 59-53 win over Seaford.
