Hayden road in dudley. The bus driver, 42yearold Scott Poirier was intoxicated. The pole came down, resting on the bus roof. The students were safely evacuated and were not hurt. Field sobriety tests were conducted, and officers concluded that poirier was under the influence to alcohol. Power to hundreds in the area was knocked out in the frigid conditions, and in a statement, the School Superintendant expressing gratitude that the students are okay.
