As Florida cruised past Cincinnati for the third time this season, Temple and Vanderbilt played a highly anticipated third-round of their AAC rivalry.
The Owls outlasted the Commodores 16-11 after splitting two games just two weekends ago. Temple scored eight goals in each half and had an 18-11 advantage on draw controls, fueling the victory.

Leading up to Thursday’s America East Conference semifinal against Vermont, members of the UAlbany women’s lacrosse team promised they weren’t looking past the Catamounts to a potential meeting in this weekend’s championship game against rival Stony Brook.
The Great Danes, clearly, meant it.
On the way to a 17-8 victory against Vermont at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium, UAlbany opened Thursday’s game on Long Island with eight unanswered goals.
“We came out flying,” UAlbany head coach Katie Rowan Thomson said during a post-game teleconference.
