Pro-Palestinian rallies are continuing nationwide on college campuses, including Florida universities, including a Palm Beach County resident who is Jewish and a student at North Florida University.
The event follows an incident where a student posted QR codes that led to antisemitic and white supremacist propaganda on the doors of Jewish faculty and staff members classrooms and offices. Reflecting on recent events, this is a space for a variety of things we might need right now, Matt Hartley, the Associate Director for Interfaith said. It s a forum to speak on things that have hurt us and harmed us. There may be some things you need to say about that or frustrations to share. There may be things you need from the UNF community. This is the place to share them.

Jules Gerstein, 19, who founded the school’s Jewish Student Union, said fliers with QR codes that led to an antisemitic radio station were discovered in the social sciences building on March 29. “Multiple” professors who had the fliers posted on their doors were Jewish, according to the Jewish Student Union.
The campus Chabad center said the codes “led to antisemitic and white supremacy material.” It added that university police have identified the perpetrator, and the student is “actively being investigated by the university and being assessed for disciplinary action.”
