Mr. Wilkins has a masters degree in history from Harvard University and is currently working on several books relating to world war i aviation. He is adjunct faculty in the History Department at st. Marys college of maryland. Mr. Wilkins is also serving as producer of aerial effects for the lafayette escadrille. His book, aeroneurosis, will be available for purchase on october 21st. – William E. (Bill) Pluma, age 81, passed away at home on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021 in Paso Robles. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on Jan. 9, 1940 to William and Martha Pluma. Bill spent most of his childhood in Norwalk, Calif., and graduated in 1958 from Excelsior High School (where the movie Grease II was filmed). At age 16, Bill became a primary provider for his family, due to his father becoming disabled in a work accident. He started out in a small butcher shop owned by his mentor, Benny Kaplan, where he learned the value of hard work and saving money.

Two men, at least one of them armed with a gun, held up a liquor store Tuesday night in Pacific Beach, San Diego police said.
It happened about 10:15 p.m. at Jug Liquor on the corner of Cass and Loring streets, Officer John Buttle said. The robbers, both dressed all in black, made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the store, located between a 7-Eleven and a laundromat.
No detailed descriptions of the robbers and no other details were immediately available Tuesday night.
