The Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles denied parole to convicted child murderer Judith Ann Neelley on Thursday, two days after Gov. Kay Ivey sent a letter strongly opposing any possibility of her release.
Alabama's parole board is once again refusing to free a woman convicted of killing a 13-year-old girl who was abducted from a north Georgia shopping mall.
Neelley will be eligible again in 5 years but still has a life sentence to serve consecutively in Georgia following her release from prison in Alabama (if that occurs).
