Suspect involved in November firearms incident arrested
Brianna Lynn Netemegesic has been on the run since November and has been remanded into custody. The 21-year-old also faces second-degree murder charges for an earlier incident that took place last March.

THUNDER BAY A woman wanted in a firearms incident from last November has been taken into custody after being on the run for nearly three months.
Brianna Lynn Netemegesic, 21, was already facing charges for second-degree murder stemming from a March 2020 death near a Picton Avenue residence.
Police say the accused now faces charges a counselling offence that is not committed and two counts of failure to comply with a judicial release. She was taken into custody without incident on Tuesday, appeared in court on Wednesday and is expected back in court on March 24.

Three people, including two individuals from southern Ontario, were arrested following a traffic stop and investigation into drug-trafficking activity Tuesday morning.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers were in the area near Donald Street West and Frontenac Street just before 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2 when they observed a motorist in a sedan failing to stop at a stop sign.
A traffic stop was conducted without incident. When police approached the vehicle they observed signs the female driver and her two passengers were possibly involved in drug-trafficking activity.
Assault sends one man to hospital
One man was taken to hospital on Wednesday night following a dispute between neighbours.

Police arrested a Thunder Bay man for assault following a reported dispute between neighbours on the city’s north side Wednesday.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched just before 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 15 to a hotel in the 200 block of Bay Street following reports of an assault that had just occurred.
Police learned the victim had attended the accused’s room in the Royalton Hotel that evening to speak with him about an ongoing dispute. When the accused answered his door, he grabbed and assaulted the victim inside the apartment.

The Belleville Police responded to 65 calls for service between December 9, 2020 at 5 a.m. and December 20,2020 at 5 a.m.
Harassment
On December 9, 2020 at 9:40 a.m., officers attended a business on Millennium Pkwy in regards to a male who was acting suspiciously. Upon arrival, officers spoke to two females who provided information that the male was following them and asking inappropriate questions in the store. Officers spoke to the male and a computer check revealed he was on a Judicial Release with a condition not to have a cell phone, and not to be out of his residence. As a result, a 25-year-old male from Ardoch, ON was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal harassment, and two counts of failing to comply with a Judicial Release. He was held for a bail hearing on December 9, 2020.
