Ottawa County Task Force on Aging honors Judge Kathleen Giesler

The Beacon Last week the Ottawa County Task Force on Aging honored Ottawa County Juvenile/Probate Judge Kathleen Giesler for her leadership in the development of the Task Force with a presentation of an engraved brick paver that will be placed at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds. Judge Giesler, who has given 28 years of faithful service to Ottawa County, was instrumental in guiding Ottawa County to better serve the needs of seniors who have been abused, neglected or exploited. With her assistance and support, Ottawa County Task Force on Aging was born. The Task Force addresses the issues facing our senior population and aims to increase awareness of the problem of abuse, neglect and exploitation. Judge Giesler has been an unwavering supporter of the elderly and the youth of Ottawa County. County Juvenile Court s 3-year term certified by Supreme Court

County Juvenile Court’s 3-year term certified by Supreme Court Celebrating the certification of the Ottawa County Juvenile Course are, left to right, Probation Officer Mike Reynolds, Judge Kathleen Giesler, Specialized Docket Coordinator Ann Johnson and Probation Officer Will Lehr. Judge Kathleen L. Giesler has been pleased to announce the Juvenile Recovery Court has earned final certification from the Ohio Supreme Court. The Commission on Specialized Dockets voted in favor of Ottawa County Juvenile Court’s certification for a three-year-term. Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor congratulated the Ottawa County Juvenile Court and Judge Giesler for receiving final certification.
