An undercover TV researcher accused of murdering a cannabis dealer fled the UK to start a new life as a businessman in Malta, even holding negotiations with the Moroccan royal family, a court has heard. Christopher Guest More Jr, 43, flew to Spain following the torture and killing of Brian Waters, 44, at a Cheshire farmhouse in June 2003, a trial at Chester Crown Court was told today.
The court heard that More used a fake UK passport under the name Andrew Lamb, who he claimed to be when he was arrested in Malta in 2019.
More confirmed to the court that he carried out a number of business negotiations in Malta, including sending surveyors to Morocco after being invited by the country s royal family to work on Tangier port.
