Caleb Freestone was arrested at a rowdy meeting of the Miami-Dade County School Board even though bystanders say he wasn't the one causing the disruption. Prosecutors declined to prosecute the case against him after WLRN published an article raising civil liberties concerns about his arrest.
At a recent Miami-Dade County School Board meeting focused on sex ed textbooks, opponents of the curriculum derailed the deliberations. One person was arrested but it wasn't any of the women causing the disruption.
