Reporter allegedly he pretended to be a 14yearold boy and then through a popular iphone or android messaging app, made contact with the girl, earned her trust and took advantage of her. According to the San Leandro Police department, 40yearold ian robert tager posed online as a 14yearold boy. Tager in the victim, a 13year old girl, apparently chatted using a messaging app called kick. After weeks of exchanging messages, he allegedly persuaded the young girl to meet him in person. She was lowered by a 40year old Child Predator that drove from patterson, california, to san leandro, to pick up this 13 yearold girl and take her to a motel in east oakland to perform sex acts with her. Reporter after interviewing the victim, police were able to identify tager of the suspect. He was arrested at his home in patterson.
