Confidence is growing at Essendon that Jake Stringer will put pen to paper on a contract extension.
Bombers GM of Football Josh Mahoney has revealed that contract talks with Stringer are âa long way down the trackâ.
Stringer and his management are reportedly wanting a four-year deal with the 27-year-old coming out of contract at seasonâs end.
Mahoney was asked by Essendon great Tim Watson on
SEN Breakfast where contract talks currently sit with Stringer and the club.
Watson: âHow far down the track are you with him?â
Mahoney: âItâs a long way down the track. Itâs not too far away.
