The first happened just after 2 00 this morning in the northbound lanes. The chp says a wrong way driver died after hitting another vehicle. The other driverin twenty minutes later on the southbound side there were two separate crashes involving drivers who stopped to look at the scene of the first collision. The chp says in that resulting accident a car rearended anoth another. A woman got out of one car that was hit by another car. Shes in critical condition. The sea breeze kept our temperatures cooler yesterday. Yesterday was the coolest day well see so far this week. Today a little bit warmer, but thats going to set us up for even hotter temperatures ahead. We have the High Pressure thats going to start to dry us out today and i did bring down the temperatures just a little bit compared to where it had been yesterday morning because the models right now were trending a little too warm. I brought them down into the upper 70s, concord 82, so as far as the main temperature difference, i would say two to three degrees. Not a huge rise in temperatures but again, by tomorrow and into tuesday, were tracking again that High Pressure, where well be seeing 80s and 90s again.
