The April 4 election will determine the representatives of St. Louis' new 13-ward Board of Aldermen. In addition to selecting legislative representatives at City Hall, voters will also decide on a sales tax on marijuana and whether to create a commission to regularly review the city’s charter.
A grand jury indictment unsealed on Thursday accuses St. Louis Board of Aldermen President Lewis Reed, as well as former Alderman John Collins-Muhammad and Alderman Jeffrey Boyd, of taking payments in return for their support for development deals.
