Westchester community mourns the loss of beloved mailman

A Westchester community is mourning their beloved mailman of more than two decades.
Joseph Vail brought mail to the community for more than 20 years.
People that knew Vail also say he brought happiness and kindness.
Vail passed away this month at 66 years old from a heart issue.
To show how much Vail was loved by his community, a GoFundMe was created to help cover funeral costs - quickly surpassing its goal within a day.

CONWAY, S.C. Coastal Carolina University graduated local students during its all 2020 commencement ceremony Dec. 11. They are: Zak Gardiner, a finance major from Portland, and Rachel Russo, a management major from Clinton.

GETTYSBURG, Pa. Students with a quality-point average in the range of 3.300 to 3.599 for a semester’s work are placed on the dean’s commendation list for the fall 2020 semester. Andrew Donlan of Haddam was among them.
