Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe has been remembered on the eighth anniversary of his murder.
The 41 year old married father-of-two was shot dead during a botched robbery outside Lordship Credit Union in Bellurgan.
South Armagh man Aaron Brady was sentenced to a minimum of 40 years in October after a jury found him guilty of the murder, and the Garda investigation to track down the rest of the gang involved in the raid, is continuing.
Det. Garda Donohoe was remembered at his anniversary mass this morning in St. Joseph s Redemptorist Church in Dundalk:

The funeral has taken place of Bagatelle singer Liam Reilly.
The 65 year old died suddenly at his home in Dundalk last Friday.
A small number of family and close friends of the front man gathered at St. Joseph s Redemptorist Church this before his burial in St. Patrick s Cemetery this afternoon.
Fr. Noel Kehoe s homily paid tribute to Liam, describing his as an icon, decent, good, kind, witty and remarkably talented .
He also spoke of the musician s ability to capture a generation through his songs:
