And suv plowed into the crowd and hit two demonstrators during the protests at san jose. Our reporter was nearby and described what happened. A Police Officer in minneapolis is accused of kneeling on the neck of george floyd for about 8 minutes. Angry demonstrators took to the streets in oakland and san jose to protest the death of george floyd in Police Custody in minnesota. Open police are out with 30 numbers from the protest last night saying 60 alleged looters were detained for further investigation. There were 18 other arrests and other Law Enforcement officers made four additional arrest and several officers from several agencies were hurt. By the time our helicopter headed home this evening the amount of smoke had diminished quite a bit and containment has reached 20 but the damage is done. The rocky fire has been burning for six days and scorched 67,000 acres. So far two dozen homes have been destroyed. We get the latest from noelle walker. Reporter it is like a different day out here on the rocky fire than what i experienced yesterday. We drove around much of the perimeter except for the far northern section. The newest section of this fire. It looks so much different. Such a more calm atmosphere than the hustle and bustle of the fire. Earlier we made it to rocky road, thats the road that gave the fire its name to find out what is left.
