That exploded this morning. Again that couple was able to get out safely. Not only was their house burned but take a look at house next door to theirs. It also caught fire and suffered some damage. Just to give you an idea of how strong this explosion was, i noticed this burned propane tank across the street on the ground there. I have been speaking to people that live in this area. There is a lot that have come out to see what is going on. They say after this explosion happened, even blocks away, they felt their homes shake. If you look at the mosaic of color across the west, we do have Winter Weather and travel advisories that will go out for the highcountry tonight for moderate snow. We do anticipate over a foot of snow in the northern and Central Mountains, with a winter storm warning that goes out midnight tonight through sunday. Winter weather advisories cover portions of the southern the northwest plateau. Here in denver, dry and mild, area, and decreasing wind. Tomorrow morning, snow showers develop around idaho springs, el dora and grand lake, but should not impact you if youre headed up to go skiing or snowboarding. This evening, although no watches or warnings or advisories have been issued because of the winds. But those westerly winds certainly did help warm us normal high. Out at dia. Well have a few clouds in town this afternoon and evening, but still going to be a dry forecast as we head into this friday night. Bit of junk snow and slush and that is not going away without the plows help. For some the hardest part of getting home tonight is getting out of the parking lot. It was frozen shut all the way around especially on slick bridges and underpasses but lighter than normal traffic meant the views of the roads depended on who you asked. Roads suck.
