Congress leader Rahul Gandhi resumes the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Assam. The Yatra starts from Nimatighat in Jorhat district, with boats taking them to Aphalamukh Ghat in Majuli district. The Yatra will cover 6,713 km in 67 days, passing through 110 districts in 15 states. In Assam, it will travel 833 km across 17 districts. Gandhi is accompanied by top party leaders including Jairam Ramesh, Bhupen Kumar Borah, and Debabrata Saikia.
