The new Park Theatre will debut its first live concert on Friday, August 13 at 7:30pm with the award-winning Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki Trio.
Bringing fresh energy to traditional Celtic music, Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki is an award-winning New Hampshire-based fiddler/singer who has been performing professionally for over two decades. He has toured nationally with bands in various genres, performed across Ireland, and released multiple recordings of Celtic music that can be heard on radio stations in Ireland and Scotland as well as around New England.
He is also an Emmy-nominated composer who has written soundtracks for audiobooks and television and appeared as a guest on over 75 albums. His lifelong passion for history helps bring to life the traditional music around which he built his career.

RYE Through traditional music Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki relays some of the adventures, misadventures, and emotions experienced by Irish emigrants. He illuminates the historical context of these songs, interspersing their stories with tunes from Ireland that made their way into New England’s musical repertoire, played on his fiddle or guitar. This program is sponsored by New Hampshire Humanities.

Canterbury Shaker Village, 288 Shaker Road, is helping New Hampshire discover a bit of holiday magic with its own wintry wonderland this month.
âA Magic Journey through the North Shop Barn,â set to run from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday through Dec. 23 and Dec. 27 to 30, winds through seasonal landscapes and artist-created vignettes, including a Shaker Christmas, dollhouse and skating panorama.
There are also find-the-elf treasure hunts and a Christkindlmarkt-inspired artisan market of handcrafted holiday gifts. Hot cocoa and cider will be available, and the Moolicious and Sweet Crunch Bakeshop food trucks will be at the Village on Saturdays, Dec. 12 and 19. In addition, Massimo Paparello and his Brass Quartet will be performing this Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m.
