Students who left said there was some initial confusion inside. Eventually, most learned it was a Suicide Attempt outside the school. One student told us she was off campus when it happened. And when she cam lockdown in effect. I was in shock. Nothing like this has happened since ive been here. Shooting something. School officials gave both parents and students a choice. That was stay in class with a modified schedueld and councilors available or go home. Some of the students number of students appeared to go home. Plan on a quiet thursday with lots of sunshine and highs rebounding back to around 70 degrees. The wind wont be quite as strong as the past few days, but still notable out of the north.
