Fans have rallied round former Blues midfielder David Norris after he claimed his parents had “disappeared with my savings”, forcing him to sell memorabilia from his career.
Town boss Jim Magilton will hand a debut to new signing Alan Quinn when the Blues take on Plymouth Argyle at Portman Road on Tuesday. Magilton has confirmed that Quinn, who was signed from Sheffield United for £400,000 last week, will be in his starting line-up.
Town are expected to sign Chester City striker Jon Walters in a £250,000 deal within the next 24 hours. Walters, 23, was in the Chester side which faced the Blues in the FA Cup third round earlier this month.
