The Chinese People s Liberation Army (PLA) has handed over the abducted 17-year-old boy from Arunachal Pradesh to the Indian Army, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said on Thursday. Miran Taron was kidnapped on January 19 from Lungta Jor area under Siyungla area of Upper Siang district.
The 17-year-old youth from Arunachal Pradesh who went missing on 18 January after border crossing has been recently located and he is now handed over to the Indian Army.
The Indian Army and the Chinese PLA have exchanged hotline over a missing Arunachal youth and China hinted at his release, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said.
