Oconto County Court: Felony charges filed in two domestic abuse cases
OCONTO – Five felony charges were filed against an Oconto man over an alleged domestic battery incident July 1 in which a woman said she was punched dozens of times and suffered a broken wrist.
Brody L. Tappa, 34, was charged on Oct. 21 and summoned to make his initial appearance in court on Nov. 22.
A bench warrant was issued for his arrest after he did not appear in court. He was arrested Jan. 3 and appeared on Jan. 4, when his bond was set at $5,000 cash.
According to the criminal complaint:
The incident was first reported to police by Bellin Health Oconto Hospital the next morning, and the victim was interviewed after she was released.
