Clemson fans gathered around the state and here in the midlands to watch the big game last night. But, in the end, it was fans of the crimson tide celebrating a National Championship. This was the scene at Hickory Tavern in the vista. Dozens of clemson fans who are part of the Columbia Clemson Club showed up to watch. A handful of loud and proud bama fans did too. Clemsons a really good team. Theres nothing to take away from that. Youve got two really good teams here. Its not about the conferences. This is about two good teams, and alabama turned out to be the better team. I didnt know if wed be able it was phenomenal. It was all you could ask for. Great game.
