An Indiana board is set to hear allegations that an Indianapolis doctor should face disciplinary action after she spoke publicly about providing an abortion to a 10-year-old rape victim from neighboring Ohio.
The state Medical Licensing Board rejected accusations from Indiana’s Republican attorney general that Dr. Caitlin Bernard violated state law by not reporting the child abuse to Indiana authorities.
Dr Caitlin Bernard broke down in tears on Thursday as she learnt she was being allowed to keep her medical license after performing an abortion on a 10-year-old rape victim and discussing the case.
