Hard to get to. Temperatures are 100 degrees plus. Again today. And humidity, even though they are triple last night they are still just 19 . Upside to the fires has been the rocky fire and the wragg fire has been the light winds. Things are changing. Showed you the winds and the temperatures. Temperatures cooling down. Are evacuated or threatened right now. The fire is moving southwest towards lower lake and east side clear lake. There has been a new evacuation advisory issued. The area east of highway 53. South of lower lake. North oo highway 20. To highway 20. Even people outside the evacuation area are very nervous. We are all nervous. We know people that are evacuated. 1520 miles. Sit up at night watching the flames. Worried about the people out there and the animals that people have to come back and get and hope they are taken care of. Middle Town High School is one of the Evacuation Centers. The shelter manager tells me 20 people stayed there over night and many more are expected tonight. The combination of extreme drought and hot weather has turned much of our state into a tinderbox and he plans to help firefighters as much as he can.
