Kohima, Oct. 17 (EMN): Oking Christian School (OCS), an establishment of Chakhesang Baptist Church, Kohima (CBCK), celebrated its silver jubilee on October 15. Speaking at the programme, president of Church Council of CBCK and special guest, Neposo Theluo, called upon the school to retrospect whether enough has been done to live upto the school’s motto ‘Strive for excellence.’ Theluo also underlined the need for students to get value-based education and to develop their critical thinking by way of cultivating inquisitiveness. He also elucidated the role of parents in moulding students, especially in the foundational years. Highlighting on the global world and the information explosion, Theluo maintained that knowledge and wisdom are requisite for success.
