Yeah, the evacuation area for this fire is growing. Currently hundreds of homes are threatened by these flames. You can see the road is closed behind us leading up to these areas. Firefighters facing unpredictable winds, difficult terrain and because of the drought, its also bone dry. Now, billowing smoke and crackling flames created an orange and black backdrop for tankers fighting the massive fire yesterday. Hundreds of firefighters continue to battle the rural fire. Helicopters scooped up water each bucket holding 324 gallons. Emergency responders fear the fire would move quickly, and it did, ballooning to thousands o acres in just a matter of hours.
