Nine Noles Headed to NCAA Championships

March 10, 2021 Nine Noles Headed to NCAA Championships TALLAHASSEE, Fla.  –   The No. 15 Florida State men’s swimming and diving team qualified nine student-athletes and five relays for the 2021 NCAA Championships from March 24-27 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. FSU will have 24 individual entries contested by one senior, two juniors, three sophomores and three freshmen. “We’re excited to have nine individuals qualify,” FSU head coach Neal Studd said. “And with all of the relays, that’s a new high since I’ve been at FSU. We’re very delighted to have so many opportunities to score points.” Since the NCAA switched the selection process for the 2013 meet, nine Seminoles selected for individual events is the highest.  FSU will also bring two relay swimmers, marking the largest squad to compete at NCAAs since 2009 at 11.

Noles Add 400 Free Relay NCAA Automatic Bid

It was truly an amazing last night.” FSU earned its third NCAA automatic relay bid of the meet (200 MR, 200 FR), touching with a time of 2:50.74 in the 400 free relay behind the team of sophomore Peter Varjasi, freshman Mason Herbet along with juniors Jakub Ksiazek and Max McCusker.
