Reporter take a look at the house, it is pretty well gutted in this neighborhood called jerry landon unincorporated hayward. Three children were home into our okay but a sexual girl is in the hospital burn unit. Reporter the fire started at 8 30 am in a 17yearold boy in the nephew committed to safety but the 17yearold sister was inside. A firefighter pulled over and ran into the Burning House to try and rescue the girl from her bedroom but could not get to her. I got in about 5 to 10 feet and the smoke was too overwhelming, i could hear her and she didnt seem that far away. I feel bad that i could not actually get to her in the smoke was overwhelmed. And we have to back out of the window.
