Parents were left to wonder where is my child. Well, our grace joyal tracked down one of the parents. I understand this mom had to call police to find her son. Thats right. 4yearold nathons mother said shes devastated by the lack of communication here. Her son is autistic and does not speak. So he cannot express to her what he was feeling last night. Nathons ride home usually takeses an hour and a half. I was very worried. I was i cant really describe it. Reporter the 4yearold is autistic and does not speak. He was one of 17 children with special needs who got stuck on a broken bus monday night. He was soaking wet. He was tired, hungry. Didnt get home untnt 7 13. Five hours on the bus. Reporter his mother, shakerra wiley, called the school and the transportation department. No one answer. Ner virus and nervous and i called the police. And they had to find the bus. The South Carolina Progressive Network says if adjusted to meet inflation that wage would be 10. 56 an hour. A big difference they want lawmakers to take notice of. Some workers say theyre not making enough money to make ends meet.
