Witnesses tell us one group of fans wag tailgates on this side of the fence when another group of fans walked down and the two groups started fighting. They were throwing rocks and bottles, even flash bangs. We talked to one man who was hit in the head by a rock. It just got rowdy. It got you know, the two squads dont get along. Rivalry from years. They come from mexico city. Now youre heading to the hospital. Reporter the fight was so violent the fans broke through the fence. Several people suffered injuries. We do know Police Detained a dozen people, but police say no arrests were made. This is a game between club america and monarcas morelia, two teams from mexico. Pkg nats this is exclusive video as a fight between soccer fans starts. You see a smoke bomb thrown. A closer look shows the two groups separated by a fence but that was knocked down. So they just started screaming at each other, saying Different Things to one another and then they started throwing the rocks and bottles and then they knocked down the fence. Then witnesses say it got worse. And the gate over here behind me was totally knocked down off its hinges and the fans came together and thats when the fighting started.
