We have to oppose the extension of the savory slavery. The immigrant societies formed in the north. They would give money to fund immigrants. They did something comparable. They have an advantage because kansas territory was right next to missouri as a slave state. And the missourians the board into kansas and they would destroy the free state settlement. The idea was to make kansas unfriendly. This is where john brown comes in. By this time almost as committed to the antislavery cause. Theyre not initially can it take up arms. They said bob you bobby should come join us. He is increasingly distressed at the failure of the to actually frustrate the proslavery courses. They seem to be rolling right over physically over the antislavery side. He needs to take strong action to send a message to the pro slavery side. They descend on aim proslavery settlement and they drag five men close savory slavery settlers and just outside the cabins where they are living there right off into the night.
