There wasn't much surprise when a trotter from the barn of John Bax was revealed as a Mohawk Million entrant on Monday (Sept. 19). If there was a surprise, it came when Righteous Resolve's name wasn't mentioned.
Having now fully recognized and inducted those named to the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame as the Classes of 2020 and 2021, the Standardbred and Thoroughbred Nomination Committees have determined the categories and finalists to appear on the ballot presented to the Election Committees, from which the Class of 2022 will be selected.
Righteous Resolve posted a stakes record time of 1:53.1 to lead a quartet of Champlain Stakes divisions for trotting two-year-olds on Thursday evening (Sept. 15) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
