It is actually at the 21000 block of foothill boulevard. The crime scene is in the back of this apartment complex and thats where police were told to conduct a welfare check on a woman tonight around 7 00 p. M. They went to the womans secondstory apartment and for some reason, and we are trying to get this confirmed by police, the officer ended up shooting her. We are told the woman may have been armed, but police have not been able to confirm this. Neighbors say they heard a olice officer takethey saw a cover behind the car and fire at least four to five shots. She tumbled halfway down the stairs and more neighbors saw her
Residents. Abc7 News Reporter alan wang is live from the area with what this means for neighbors. Alan . This has been a nightmare for the 20 some odd in the area. When the road collapsed it . Eapped off a Water Service line, sewage line and badly damaged a watermain. The only piece inconvenience is going to the bathroom. The creek was flowing over Mountain View drive and into the neighborhood after piles of large debris clogged up the culvert. The force of the floodwaters washed away the earth between the culvert and the road. A portion cracked and fell. The other portion started slowly sinking and collapsed like in a matter of a few seconds. Raw sewage was almost dumped into the creek. The sanitation crews built this bypass in the nick of time. It may be the case that we have to wait until we have dry weather to do a permanent fix. This road could be closed for some time. All of this was caused by debris and garbage in the creek. Im dan ashley. First, breaking news in the search for a serial arsonist in the south bay. They arrested a suspect accused of setting a dozen fires in the past week. Ama dates is live in san jose with breaking details. Ama . Dan and carolyn, that person is suspected of setting 13 fires. You can see some of the damage in the video we shot. Homes, condos and a portable building behind a church that was set on fire last week. It was a rash of arsons and as you said tonight, the San Jose Police department has confirmed that the departments covert Response Unit arrested a man shortly after 8 00 in connection with the arsons. This time last night i was telling you that the heaviest part of the storm system was going to hit us about 7 00 this morning. In fact, i went ahead and captured the image of live doppler 7hd. Specifically at 7 50 this morning you can clearly see the heaviest part of the storm making its way just over the Golden Gate Bridge indicated by the deep reds and the oranges and the yellows and all of that moisture quickly pushed to the south. Here is another shot of it by the way from our satelliteradar composite. Live doppler 7hd is not showing any moisture at all out there. Yes, it does look like we get a respite tonight and tomorrow, but more rain is in my accuweather sevenday forecast. Well get to that a little later. Leigh, thank you.
