Chatham-Kent council has a packed agenda for Monday’s meeting, but it’s what won’t be talked about during open session that’s getting a lot of attention.
South Kent Coun. Trevor Thompson, who consistently offers a preview about issues of note on the agenda via social media, revealed that one of the closed-session items is: “Proposed acquisition of land by the municipality or local board with regard to 100 King St. W., Chatham. Section 239(2)(c), Municipal Act, 2001.”
