The morning of Thursday, January 7th, 2021, 29-year-old Jennifer Garza and 30-year-old Joe Garza Jr. were killed in a car crash. Their family is asking for donations to help pay for their funerals.
The crash happened in the 4600 block of 4th Street at around 1:15 a.m. in the morning. It s said the GMC Yukon, driven by 27-year-old Brittany Gonzales, was traveling eastbound when it left the roadway, struck a tree, rolling and came to a rest.
Jennifer and Joe were pronounced dead at the scene, but Gonzales was taken to University Medical Center with moderate injuries.
It s said on the GoFundMe page that the three of them were celebrating Jennifer s 29th birthday.
