The event was organized by the Spruce Grove Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) Society and welcomed dozens of car-honking participants, supporters and parade spectators who lined the streets. Members of the community, including Spruce Grove council, local businesses and the Spruce Grove GSA Society, took part in the festivities on June 26.

“We’re expecting more people than had registered so this is great,” said Jody Tucker, president of the Spruce Grove GSA Society. “Pride Your Ride is just two years (old), this is our second event and we’re going to hopefully keep expanding …next year we’re hoping to do something bigger.”
