Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti have said they will not contest the assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir to be held next year until the central government restores the statehood in J&K
Ghulab Nabi Azad s comments come after the Jammu administration on Tuesday issued an order authorising tehsildar to issue certificates of residence to those living in Jammu for more than one year, paving the way for their entry into the electoral rolls.
"Of course, we are going to fight elections, we will not cede any space to them, I won`t be fighting elections till Article 370 is restored," said PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti.
