盛夏7月，在中铁电气化局集通铁路电气化改造项目施工现场，吊车耸立、机器轰鸣、激战正酣，一面面党旗在这里迎风飘扬，一排排接触网支柱拔地而起，一座座桥隧施工有序推进。
集通铁路地处内蒙古东部腹地，面临草原汛期时间长，有效施工天数短等制约因素，特别是全长1474m的经棚隧道，924m都位于沉积沙的包围中，穿越2条断层破碎带，是整个工程中的难点。为整体推进项目建设，确保完成年度施工任务，集通项目部在全线开展了劳动竞赛活动，迅速掀起了“比、学、赶、帮、超”施工生产大干高潮。
