Town ended their 2005/06 Portman Road campaign with a deserved 2-0 victory over Derby County. Skipper Jim Magilton said his goodbyes as second half goals from Nicky Forster and Darren Currie gave the Blues their first win in nine matches.
Town manager Joe Royle has named an unchanged side for Tuesday s home game with relegation-doomed Rotherham United. Royle is also sticking with the same five substitutes from Saturday s 3-2 victory over Derby County.
Pablo Couñago is the only senior player in the Town reserve side facing Tottenham at Portman Road this evening (KO 7pm). The rest of the team is mainly Town s U18 side which faces Spurs in the home leg of the FA Youth Cup semi-final on April 8th.
Pablo Couñago scored the Town reserves goal as they drew 1-1 with West Ham at Portman Road. The Spaniard netted just before the half-hour mark but young Hammers frontman Hogan Emphraim equalised in the second period.
