CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Oregon (KPTV) A woman who was found and arrested in Florida was booked into the Clackamas County Jail on a murder charge for the killing of a Milwaukie man in March, and court documents reveal details of what happened the morning of his death.
Nistasha Rose Tate, also known as Nitasha, faces charges of first-degree robbery and second-degree murder after Jimmy Alan Pearson’s body was found in his home on March 3, two days after authorities say Tate killed him. According to court documents, Pearson’s home is over 8,000 square feet and worth over $2.2 million. Pearson owned some local pawn shops and one of his employees had not heard from him for several days and so he went to the house to check on Pearson. Clackamas County makes arrest in homicide of pawn shop owner April 13 2021
Nistasha Rose Tate, 23, accused of killing Jimmy Alan Pearson, 63, in his Oak Grove home
Clackamas County Sheriff s Office on April 13 announced the arrest of Nistasha Rose Tate, 23, for the murder of 63-year-old Jimmy Alan Pearson.
Pearson, who owned a small chain of pawn shops, was found dead at his Oak Grove home on March 3.
A U.S. Marshals Service task force arrested Tate on April 12 at a Florida Greyhound station. Called the prime suspect in Pearson s murder on March 1, Tate is currently being held in the Hillsborough County Orient Road Jail, where she awaits extradition to Clackamas County. She is being held without bail on a Clackamas County warrant for second-degree murder and robbery.

Pawn-shop owner Jimmy Alan Pearson, 63, found dead in home last Wednesday, March 3; detectives seeking tips
The Clackamas County Sheriff s Office is investigating the suspected murder of 63-year-old Jimmy Alan Pearson who was found dead at his Oak Grove home last Wednesday, March 3.
According to a press release published by the sheriff s office Monday, March 8, Pearson was found by an employee who went to his residence at 1711 S.E. Oak Shore Lane to check on Pearson after he didn t show up at work.
Pearson bought his house along the Willamette River for $1.2 million in 2015, according to the county assessor s office, which estimates its current value as $2.1 million. State business filings show that Pearson owned a marijuana processing company and small chain of pawn shops called A-1 Hawk, which are still doing business at outlets in Gladstone and Portland.
