Clackamas County makes arrest in homicide of pawn shop owner

Nistasha Rose Tate, 23, accused of killing Jimmy Alan Pearson, 63, in his Oak Grove home
Clackamas County Sheriff's Office on April 13 announced the arrest of Nistasha Rose Tate, 23, for the murder of 63-year-old Jimmy Alan Pearson.
Pearson, who owned a small chain of pawn shops, was found dead at his Oak Grove home on March 3.
A U.S. Marshals Service task force arrested Tate on April 12 at a Florida Greyhound station. Called the "prime suspect" in Pearson's murder on March 1, Tate is currently being held in the Hillsborough County Orient Road Jail, where she awaits extradition to Clackamas County. She is being held without bail on a Clackamas County warrant for second-degree murder and robbery.
