Investigators are now trying to figure out a cause. Johnson county Sheriffs Office says 2 people are in custody this morning following an Armed Robbery at a convenience store. That was around midnight at the kum and go at 205 2nd street in coralville. The suspects showed a knife to the clerk, but no one was injured in the robbery. Waterloo police have released the name of the 7yearold boy who was seriously injured when a pickup truck hit him. Police say Leighton Pullin ran out on the house when the vehicle hit him tuesday. It happened in the 600 block of west 11th street. Pullin went to the uihc, with lifethreatening injuries. Police have not cited the driver of the pickup truck.
