Kern County s Lavender Garden to host inaugural Lavender Festival

If you've ever traveled down Highway 46 through Lost Hills, there's a good chance you've passed by the quaint lavender farm situated right here in Kern County. If you haven't had the chance to stop by and smell the lavender, the owners of The Lavender Garden are inviting you out to do just that!

Inaugural Lavender Festival happening at The Lavender Garden

Festival happening June 12-13 –The Lavender Garden in Lost Hills will host its first-ever Lavender Festival on June 12-13. Join them as they celebrate their spring bloom. The Lavender Garden is located at 14014 CA-46 in Lost Hills, CA on Hwy 46 between Bakersfield and the Central Coast. The festival will run on Saturday June 12 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday June 13 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The 1st Annual Lavender Festival is an event for the entire family. They will crown the 2021 Lavender Festival Queen, Jr. Queen, and Princess in a pageant Saturday, June 12 at 1 p.m., presented by Legacy Productions and Miss Kern County. Local nonprofits team up for Concert for the Causes

This weekend three local nonprofits will be partnering up for a benefit concert. "Concert for the Causes" will be featuring performances by Granger Smith, The Voice Season 19 and Bakersfield's own Jim Ranger, and more.

Gwen Stefani is also a former winning coach. She nailed Season 19 with the youngest winner in the show’s history, Carter Rubin. Carter won over Jim Ranger and Ian Flanigan of Team Blake Shelton, Desz of Team Kelly Clarkson, and John Holiday of Team John Legend.  Gwen will perform her latest single, Slow Clap, featuring rap star Saweetie. Coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas and John Legend will perform with their final artists. These include Cam Anthony and Jordan Matthew Young from Team Blake, Kenzie Wheeler from Team Kelly, Victor Solomon from Team Legend, and Rachel Mac from Team Nick. One will be named the season’s winner during the telecast.
