The widow of Victor Saracini, a United Airlines pilot killed in the terror attacks on 9/11, she has worked non-stop for the past 20 years to build The Garden of Reflection in Lower Makefield.
The project has been an outstanding success, as the memorial attracts more than 100,000 visitors each year who come to pay their respects to the 2,973 victims who lost their lives in the attacks that tragic day, including 18 from Bucks County.
But Saracini has spearheaded a new goal to ensure that The Garden will be cared for into perpetuity. A campaign to raise $2 million is approaching the finish line just $200,000 more is needed.

TRUMBULL Most teens might be frustrated about losing a year of their high school career to cancer surgery and chemotherapy. But most teens aren’t Sona Kocinsky.
“I don t feel like I lost a year of my life to cancer it was a year of my life that I received an education, as if I have an appreciation for (the fight),” the 17-year-old Trumbull High senior said.

i was in north korea for a week, just recently, and i have to say, north korea s response to president trump s speech in south korea fits with everything i ve heard. they are calling him a destroyer saying he is begging for nuclear war. how should, jim mccaffrey, the president respond to that kind of language to north korea and should he at all. well, he shouldn t. the two leaders could be blunt, into adolescent exchange of comical threats. but nothing is funny about the potential of an null out high intensity ground and air war in the korean peninsula. one which i might add, the south korea armed forced and the u.s. would destroy the nkpa in less than months and it would be a humanitarian zaft and it is likely to go nuclear and it might entail a nuclear device fired at u.s. naval facilities in japan or guam.
